Job Description: The Operation Technician will help to build the physical infrastructure behind the company’s network. You are also responsible for helping DigiPRO Media Group build and maintain its Microsoft and Linux clusters. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Installing new servers as our infrastructure grows; Testing and troubleshooting new server hardware components; Installing switches, routers, and other networking gear; Repairing broken servers; and Configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft and Linux OS-related issues.

 

Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) from an accredited academic institution; Four plus (4+) years of experience working with PC hardware; MSCE and Linux certification; Two plus (2+) years of documented experience in troubleshooting Microsoft and Linux operating systems; Network equipment and S/W; Able to lift/move 30-40 lbs equipment on a daily basis. The candidate must be flexible on hours; weekend and/or shift work will be required.
