Job Description: The Computer Scientist will design, develop, and maintain software solutions that enable the delivery of innovative multimedia solutions and all the products contained within them, as well as enhance the user experience when using our products and services. Furthermore, the Computer Scientist will Write code to further multimedia solutions as a platform; Architect software programs to customer requests; Identify key areas for further process and technical improvements; Architect information infrastructure to increase performance and flexibility of software development; Consult with a global community of engineers; Write and review feature requirements and specifications; and Work with customers, marketing and management to provide depth and perspective to engineering work.

 

Requirements: Master of Science degree in Computer Science from an accredited academic institution; Eight plus (8+) years of experience in Enterprise Application Architecture, of which at least five plus (5+) years of experience in Java Enterprise application development and of which at least five plus (5+) years of experience in C/C++, Flex/Flash, Action Script, Python and Perl; Certification in C/C++, Flex/Flash, Action Script, Python and Perl required; Certification and experience in database design using Oracle and MySQL; Expert knowledge in software development methodologies, testing procedures and development tools; Proven background in Client/Server architecture and an in-depth knowledge of Enterprise workflow management; Proven background in distributed computing, proven experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), message driven applications design; Proven experience in data modeling including E/R modeling; Extensive and proven experience in data integration, reporting and analysis tools; and Extensive and proven experience in managing projects involving systems integration.
