Job Description: DigiPRO Media Group is looking for an energetic computer engineer with interest in learning and working in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment. This person will provide vital support to our database group. This position requires someone who is able to take direction, willing to learn new skills and maintains a positive, can-do attitude with the motivation to be a self-starter. This position will be under the guidance of and reports to the Director of Network Administration. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to Gaining understanding of current systems and practices; Working with team members to provide SQL scripts; Assisting database manager in day to day fixes; Aid the group by writing PLS/SQL procedures; Working with lead to implement better processes; Learning business rules as applied to the database and document columns and tables; Developing analytical skills to perform data cleansing tasks.

 

Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (or equivalent) from an accredited academic institution; Certification and proficiency in the following programming languages: PL*SQL, Perl/PHP, UNIX Scripting Languages, DML, DDL, and MySQL; Must have a willingness to operate within a highly-energetic team environment as well as under instruction on an individual basis and the willingness to learn other languages.
