Job Description: The DigiPRO XD (Experience Design) team is seeking an experienced Interface Designer to join our team. In this high-visibility role you will apply your design skills to define the future of Photoshop and Photoshop-related applications for desktop, mobile, and emerging tablet platforms. You will collaborate closely with an accomplished team to create both visual and experiential designs to improve existing Photoshop-related projects, to enable designers, photographers and other Photoshop users to enjoy and be productive with Photoshop technologies in new ways, on new platforms. We are looking for a designer with a deep level of experience designing software interfaces. Your portfolio should demonstrate a firm understanding of visual design fundamentals, as well as software product design for a variety of screens and platforms. You must have experience working with multidisciplinary teams to bring products to market. You must be a confident self-starter, able to take initiative, to resolve conflict, to incorporate ideas from others, articulate your work, and follow through. You must be extremely knowledgeable about Photoshop; Ideate with multidisciplinary team to define features and to scope product; Create functional wire-frames and visuals, based upon your ideas and collaboration with the product team; Convey your ideas clearly and persuasively to the team; Convert the above designs into specifications for features and workflows for use by engineering teams; Work with the development team to implement designed features to a fine level of detail; Foster an environment of design excellence and team collaboration; and Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure the best possible experience is released to market.

 

Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) from an accredited academic institution; Eight plus (8+) years of hands on experience designing user experiences; Certification and knowledge of Adobe tools, especially Adobe Creative Suite products, Photoshop in particular; Strong portfolio that demonstrates ability to design exceptional interfaces and experiences; Ability to receive (and deliver) constructive, knowledgeable, and accurate design critique in a team setting; Strong communication and inter-personal skills; Ability to work across teams with geographically remote team members; and be a Motivated, independent self-starter with the ability to learn and adapt.
